Hello, worlds!

Your only limitation is your imagination.
This has never felt more true to me than when dealing with dioramas.
The ability to imagine a world—any world, as tiny or as big as I'd like—and shape it into reality is mesmerizing.
As a child, I was already passionate about small-scale models.
I dreamt of building my battlefield landscape, filled with painted minis of Napoleon's armies…
Although I never pursued this as a child, I have recently renewed a captivation for the discipline when discovering creators on YouTube, such as minibricks or Thalasso Hobbyer.

It all happened when a YouTube suggestion showed me the making-of video of the above diorama: I watched it repeatedly, along with other walkthroughs, and soon found myself binge-watching hours of them!
It was not long before I decided that I could do it, too.
It would take time to reach a level even remotely comparable to what I was watching, but I was ready to start the journey.
More hours of watching ensued: walkthroughs where I would note any identifiable materials being used, try to understand the techniques, ... and, of course, great tutorial videos from other inspiring creators like Luke Towan, Luke from Geek Gaming Scenics or The Terrain Tutor.
When I felt ready, I bought what I thought was needed to get started and took the plunge!
I have now started building, and I want to share my journey with you just as it is: a work in progress.
There are skills to learn, techniques to master and so many things to try to build those minuscule worlds.
I want to take you along with me, share what I learn and get your feedback.
And maybe someday, I'll inspire you!
But in the meantime, if I can learn with or from you, or teach you a trick or two, that'll be pretty fantastic already!
